Would a Wembley visit change things : Tue Jul 23, 2013 8:48 am
I know we daren't think about this but would getting to Wembley fundamentally change the clubs trajectory?

Unless we can hook a new investor on the back of it, I think not. The club are certainly not able at the present time to take advantage of such an opportunity. We did not benefit in 1999 and we are in a worse position now.

Any views?

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Shame Catalans got knocked out. We could have had a block of seats each!

Sadly, I fear not. It's not just the Broncos who are near-invisible, it's the whole sport of RL which should be enjoying a huge publicity boost with the World Cup only a few months away. I see little sign of it.

As a "lapsed" Broncos fan it gives me no pleasure to see the Club this low.

The problem really is twofold: Rugby League as a sport is far too parochial at all levels so there never has been proper support to push London forward. I won't mention mismanagement by London as that's so effing obvious.

And how narrow the International game is - World Cup can only be won by the Chain Rattlers or Kiwis. Everyone knows that, so why bother with the comp when a World Club Challenge round robin with top 6 Superleague and NRL against each other would be a much bigger draw

us a Wembley would do nothing for the game or the club, it would be a record score, warrington have already put 80 points past us this season why do you think Wembley would be any difference, and the neutral watching na game like that would just laugh
As for the international game!! honest answer, I don't think the majority of RL fans in the UK really care about a successful international team

I only asked the question. It may inspire a new owner to come forward.

Maybe a billionaire watching might take pity on us after we've been handed the biggest ever spanking in a CC final!
Assuming of course we turn Wigan over on Saturday!
