On Saturday the Broncos only hope will be to keep the Giants below 40 points, whilst the club (seemingly behind close doors) work out a way to waste another season and prepare for life in the Championship or possible oblivion.

On Sunday two local sides Hemel Stags and the Skolars will be busting their guts out in a tight local derby in a bid to claim a 3rd place play-off place and get into the Championship next season. It will probably be near to a record crowd at Pennine Way.

Which clubs are trying to build the game and provide entertainment for the fans? Oh by the way, one club is losing money like a drunken man who has found the backdoor key to the Bank of England and the other two have sound business plans and attract sponsors.

Go figure. I know which game I am looking forward to most!

Well you're obviously not a masochist, as that seems to be the requirement for Broncos fans.

Of course it's almost impossible to say anything positive about the Broncos these days, but one contains the likes of Brough, Soward, Crabtree (my fave!), etc. The other contains many Broncos cast-offs.

It was the spirit and the enterprise that seems to be lacking from the Broncos. Hemel and the Skolars seem to make a little go a long way, whereas the Broncos just don't seem to put two ideas together despite having talent and a large benefactor.

I'm with PP. I'm especially looking forward to Sunday's Hemel v Skolars CONTEST as a Hemel ST holder and this will be the first Stags v Skolars game I've seen, although the 3rd face-to-face of the year. I'm also a Broncos ST holder and am just expecting another horrific loss by the Broncos against Hudds. Either way it's the last home game for each club and I expect good things for Hemel and not much for the mighty Broncos. I think that's pretty sad as a loooong time LB/HRL/Crucaders/Fulham fan.

I'm off to Gloucestershire v Gateshead and am looking forward to that more than Saturday.

I hope the club see this thread. We are the ones who still turn up, have been season ticket holders for many many years between us yet are looking forward to Sunday rather than Saturday. Something for them to think about whilst they work out what they are going to tell us on Saturday perhaps.

Lister will firmly disagree with this I imagine but I think there is more chance of me renewing my ST for next year if I knew we were going to play Championship rugby.
