Outs, Ins?, 2014 squad : Tue Sep 17, 2013 11:37 am  

Can someone please update on player movement - it seems half the team have gone or are going without anything coming from the club. I also missed the last home game.

If we are still around next year, what is our squad looking like?

TR Full back/wing/centre Gus is the pack Steve stand off/scrum half/hooker

rest of the squad gonna be made up from paddock/BroncOnion/daftdad/pc plum all local lads
Apparently we are in negotiations for a marquee signing from NZ a bloke been making a name for himself plying his trade out there yep I mean Gutters
Rest of the numbers gonna be made up by medway u14's squad so we should be all set

I am gutted that I cannot even make this team, what with my northern RL pedigree an' all. Maybe I am too good!

Me too! Played to a decent standard in my twenties. Thirty years on I didn't think I had got so bad I couldn't find a place in this squad!

I was born in Keighley, surely that gets me a squad number? and at 34 years old I'm in my prime to be a prop forward.

Me too! And I'm a Londoner , thought it was all about the locals these days! Remember that youth and skill are no match for age and cunning! Pace might be a bit of a problem mind!

You will get homesick or find it too expensive and pi55 of back home!

My wife will refuse to move away from her Mum and Dad in Keighley and stay up there with my kids and Ill miss them so much Ill leave after a year.

Tre, the lure of Bracken Bank and lawkholme lane will be strong but am sure we could find you a place on loan.
think the best Keighley story was a certain antipodean ref who plied his trade in the super league for a few years married a Keighley girl, took her too Aus for the WC in 2008, and she refused to come back to the UK, true story
He came back for a while then packed it in and went back to Sydney
