I think you & wantawin have missed the point of my observation. Don't think anyone would begrudge Eddie his day in the sun. He has given his all when playing & good kyck to him.
Its also not for ML to like or otherwise as he is Commercial Manager not CEO or Owner but usually when our players leave, even those under contract, there is something from Hughes thanking them etc etc. Not this time & even Wakefield's name isn't mentioned. I'm sure Eddie was a big part of Danny's plans so you can understand the terseness of the statement. Don't think Wakefield have conducted themselves well though.
