I have never seen the point in the Magic Weekend, it's only an additional skew to the fixture list & rarely, if ever, packs out a ground. Not sure what is magical about that?

I believe that Sky like it.And it gives those at the RFL a chance to pat each other on the back and say what a good job it is that they are doing. I too agree it is a bit of a nonsense.
When was magic weekend last played in the south? I would have thought taking it to the Midlands might have been an idea. I agree it is past its sell by date.
2007, 2008 & 2011 Cardiff 2009 & 2010 Edinburgh 2012, 2013 & 2014 Manchester 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 & 2023 Newcastle 2019 Liverpool So not much initiative shown by the RFL but I suppose Cardiff could be considered south.
squad out. looks same as last week. So I guess no Parata due to HIA but otherwise strong. Waine to come in?
That sounds right. Shame about Parata, he’s picked up a couple of head knocks this season which will be a worry. I’m hoping for a decent performance - we could win this but it’s difficult to tell.
