I reckon the 3 new signing will be Wheeler, Dudson & Flower. It all seems to fit with the rumours/tit bits weve heard. The last 2 are obviously nailed on, dont see what the hold up was with them two. Unless we were hanging back to make sure they werent seriously injured in 4 nations?

I'd imagine all will become clear when Ian Lenagan makes the announcement.
I do find it ridiculous how we leave announcements so long that by the time they're announced everybody knows. Even the sky commentators (very unprofessional incidentally) were calling Dudson and Flower Wigan players.

If we've signed Gary Wheeler I would be thrilled. Under the best conditioning staff in the League we could unlock that lads incredible potential. I very much doubt it though. Although if Ian Lenagan has pulled that one off, he will have shut me up because no-one saw that one coming unlike Dudson and Flower!

It is a criticism of the club/Ian Lenegan that I think a lot of fans share, they take too long to announce stuff to the point where it gets leaked and becomes public knowledge long before it's "official."

Its the Sky commentators who are at fault... IL has always said he will announce signings at the appropriate time... Not when it suits others... If it really bothers you, you have a life with very little to get concerned about. Lucky you!!

IL said the announcements will be made once the registrations are sorted out, so I guess that's the hold up. Don't see why there should be a problem with that but I'm not losing any sleep over it

Apparently Wigan HAVE made a third signing and apparently it's another former Crusaders player.

Lee Williams? A wing/centre who was on dual registration with South Wales Scorpions. I've pinched the bio off their website:

A Welsh international who hails from Aberdare, Lee was drafted into the first team training squad at the Crusaders earlier this year after a number of years in the reserves and academy. Lee now remains the only original Crusaders player still at the club and is dual registered with the Scorpions. For Crusaders reserves he scored 32 tries and nine goals in 36 appearances over the last two years. Despite that his first team appearances have been limited, but scored two tries and four goals in six appearances. A former Wales and Great Britain under 18 captain, Williams has now played five times for the full Wales side, scoring two tries and was in the team when Wales won the European Cup in 2009.

Pure gossip with no significant weight behind it, but I've had it mentioned to me that we've made a third signing and that it's a centre/winger from Crusaders.

This has been a bit silly now though, it's been common knowledge for a couple of months now and there is no reason not to announce it. I'm not even going to rise to that pointless sentence at the end.

Interesting that the St Helen's official twitter has denied that BOTH wheeler and Jamie foster are in talks with us. I've heard a little whisper about Foster earlier today of a pretty decent source whether it's true or not is a different story but you never know a suppose.
I'd be over the moon if IL managed bring in Wheeler seems a very decent prospect and gives us that versatility in the halfback roll.
