Can’t argue with that but as a stop gap to get Lam out ASAP I’d consider Ward.

till the end of this season i would, like the players weve signed I would have till this season end, the issue is they are 2 and 3 year contracts so stuck with them, im astounded weve signed Thornley, got rid of him before because he wasnt good enough and suddenly hes good enough, hes been terrible this year for leigh and is a total defensive liability.

Who would you have instead of Ward (genuine question)?

Is doing a decent job as a head coach not as good as being an assistant in the NRL?

I hope the club are looking at adding some experienced hires into the coaching staff. Even if it's as an assistant, we need different idea imo.

Danny Ward under Wane as director of rugby sounds pretty good to me.

Anything sounds pretty good at the minute mind.

John Duffy is the coach of the worst SL side in living memory. I wouldn't use him as the basis for any solid argument.

I agree with Nicky Kiss.Danny Ward and Shaun Wane would be an upgrade on what we now have.
Ward had London playing excellent rugby in Super League and were very unfortunate to have been relegated and replaced by Toronto.
Danny Ward also comes across as a very positive and energetic bloke as against Lam who probably qualifies as the worlds most boring man !!!

I thought Ward had London playing good stuff the other season with limited resources, you'd think at the very least he could get us looking like a team again
