I stand corrected. Gasnier is 30 but still worth a shot. Good enough to make all 3 state of origin matches last season!

Lunt is a decent player but I worry that he's spent too long not playing at hooker since Luke Robinson was moved there by Nathan Brown. I think he'll go well at Leeds though if that's where he ends up

He's far better than McShane, but then again so are most hookers in Superleague.

I just worry about his desire.

It was well reported that we offered him a lot of money before to come and play in this country and i was really suprised that he decided to retire so early whilst he could still command a very decent wage both in the NRL and in Superleague.

Id be inclined to avoid him.

A definite one to avoid for me for the reasons stated above by dany1979. I remember when we were on the verge of signing him all those years back. What a let down when he turned his back on us and very disrespectful. Gasnier a no go for me.

He never really captured his brilliant best in NRL after his stint in union. Towards the end of last season I was screaming that we should be in for him, but after being retired for a few months I think if he came here mid-season most of his time would be spent getting his fitness up, not really what we are looking for from a stop-gap/cover player.

This line of thinking is a massive problem in British Rugby League, for starters Gasnier is 31 not 29 and well settled into retirement.
As for a boat load of money for Dureau, he's not the "world beater" people are making out.
