Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

Under what cloud did he leave? Given that we are under new ownership does it matter anyway?

Adrian Lam would be my choice of replacing Noble if it ever comes down to that.

Lam knows the club and more importantly the quality of our youth. He'd give them a chance to shine.

It would be a Mike Gregory type of appointment.

Didn't Lam & Brett Kenny go for the job before Noble???

I would like to see a trio of adrian Lam as head coach, Dennis Betts as Defensive coach and Brett Kenny in Lydon's old role. Quality. 8)

Its sad to say that i would not like to see an English appointment.

We need an Australian coach with a proven track record that can come over and shake the club up.

Wigan needs so much more than just subtle changes, we need major changes to the team, the ones that Noble isnt prepared to make.

but with salary cap restrictions, we'll still have the same squad!!!, and it would take at least 3-5 more years until we could compete at our highest level....something that wigan fans will not tollerate..

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

You say that like our squad is $hite; on paper it's top 4, easily. We just need some effective coaching for the current crop we have.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

A good coach gets the best out of the players he has, Noble is not doing this.

A Great example of this is Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth, he did not have the best players but got the best out of each one, with the dominance of afew major teams it is a great achievement for them to win the FA cup. I know its a different game but the same principle, Noble has to get the best out of our players, as they are capable of so much more.

Better and the best example of that is Mike Gregory best motivator ive ever seen. He took a side to 2 finals and it was not that great a side.

trust me it is a shoe-string!! IL wont pay to have the washing machines connected up at orrell.. instead they have to take the kits to a dry cleaners to have them washed! thats how bad things are!

Smells like BS to me that one!!

The cost of Electric, Water & Washing Powder is hell of a lot less than the cost of outsourcing to a dry cleaning agency on a regular basis..........
