The fact that the playoffs (the so-called pinnacle games of the season) are played in front of significantly lower crowds than regular season games is a real problem for Super League.

The RFL should introduce a policy that allows all ST holders to purchase playoff tickets for half price. Rewards fan loyalty and gives an extra incentive to buy season tickets in the first place.

I dont know how anyone can call this game pointless! If we win on Sunday our route to the final could potentially be:

Week 1: Saints (H)
Week 2: OFF
Week 3 Saints (H)

As opposed to if we lose:

Week 1: Saints (H)
Week 2: Catalans (H)
Week 3: Saints (A)

I know which one I prefer the look of. I don't think we will make the final if we lose this weekend.

They should just be cheaper, £10 ish for the first and second round would generate sellouts, its terrible PR for RL when the stadiums for playoff's are half full.

Who sets the price for playoff tickets, the club or the RFL?

That's a very tough run in, We need to win this week for me, aswell as the week off doing us a world of good, it could be near impossible if we lose and the results go as i expect.

Finishing top probably will reap its benefits this year looking at how the table has panned out.

It's a massive game for me and, should we win, give us a chance to rest players up and clear injuries as i think we look a little jaded at the moment. A week off would do us the world of good.

Wouldn't Saints have the club call if that happened? Surely they'd pick Leeds instead of us and make us face Wire? Unless it doesn't work that way.

Saints can only get club call if both us and Wire lose this weekend.

I don't think anyone should underestimate the importance of a week off.

Conserves energy
Less likelihood of injury
Less likelihood of suspension
More training time
