I dunno he just seemed to think there was some sort of rule stopping us playing at home. Ive not got a clue what the situation is.

AFAIK The only reason it was never played at Headlingley was due to the undersoil heating. Obviously the RFL felt that Huddersfield was a safer bet at that time of year.

No reason the WCC should not be played at the DW.
It was held there in 2000 when Saints played Melbourne.
Whether the Aussies will want it on their patch this time is one thing, if it is to be held here then we will play it on our own ground.
If everyone who went to Old Trafford turns up to see the WCC then it could be a sell out!

I wouldd like us to go and beat them on their own patch.

The WCC for me is not taken seriously as it should be by the Aussies. They need to put it at the end of the season as IMO it is more of a pre season friendly than the highest level of rugby league like it should be.

Exactly and they would take it more seriously if we went down there.
