We can't forget that we have lads like Tautai, Pettybourne, Clubb, Hopkins and even Sutton who can cover the back row positions as well so a new signing in there simply isn't needed (I've not even mentioned youngsters like Burke, C Farrell and Lever).

If Taylor stays I'm really excited about next year. The squad has dealt with so many injuries this year that it brings a positive with so many lads having gained experience. This has been a bit of a transitional year yet we're still a decent shout of winning a trophy this year and the squad will be an excellent one next year IMO.

Very positive.

I'd stick my neck out and say that if Taylor stays we will have the best pack in the comp lined up for next year.

Wish we could sign a scooting #9 to really top it all off.

Welham's pap, I think the bigger question is why would we let a player still under contract go when he was in excellent form before his injury. Plus centre is position we have the least strength in depth. I'd be very surprised to see this one happen tbh.

Wonder if any of our new signings (if we make any) will be mentioned on this thread?

Seems that in recent years the club have managed to spring a few surprises signing wise....unlike the old days.

Another story on BBC sport website with Wane talking about keeping Jordan James on as a player next season. Really baffling that's it's even being considered IMO, complete waste of salary cap even if he's on peanuts.
