Why cant they just let everyone else get on with it, because some do like the shirt. Matty B for example, hates the shirt, but hes not planning protests and emailing his heartfelt thoughts to the club - I find it quite ridiculous that people actually are. Fair enough if it was something that could seriously effect the club and peoples lives, but at the end of the day, its just a shirt.
That's a fair enough point, and I tend to agree with the "if you don't like it, don't buy it" brigade, and on that note I, for one, won't be buying it.
On the other hand, my main cause for concern is that, if opinions on here (and elsewhere) are replicated amongst the wider fan base, it represents a reduced income stream for the club.
Given the increased "openness" of communication in the Lenagan era, I really don't understand why there wasn't some degree of fans' input into the design - after all, they're the customers. Any company producing something for sale will do some market research first - except in this case, it seems.

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain coach. Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....) //www.internationalrugbyleague.net/

Today I thought of something else that has annoyed me somewhat.
They sent us a survey asking for opinion on a Mobile Phone app but weren't bothered about asking us what we want from a shirt?
That seems a bit odd dont ya think? Ah well I'm just going to wear my 1989 retro shirt and when I get chance I will get to the shop look at it in person and make a decision about it. Surely it cant be THAT bad? Can it?
