Sam 'negotiating' with the club after he's had various approaches.
Wants to stay at least 1 more year then from what I'm told favours going to Madge in 2013.
We will see what IL comes up with to keep him :-/

Apart from the obvious disappointment of losing him from Wigan, going to the NRL in 12 months time would be the best option for Sam imo. He would be playing against the best players in the world and would have an opportunity to prove to any doubters that he is up there as well. Not to mention whilst benefitting from the increased salary cap, extra media exposure, public interest and general lifestyle. Plus we'd still have him for England.

If we do lose Joel we really could have done with Mark Flanagan. Really wish Saints hadnt signed him.

Who gives stuff about any of that? Why would you care if he proved his doubters wrong in the NRL? Are you saying you would actually prefer him to leave in 12 months time?

We do not want to lose our best player, period. If he wants to go to the NRL when his contract is up fair enough and he would still be plenty young enough but it certainly is not in our teams interest to have him go anywhere in 2013.
