I had Liam Farrell first try and Wigan to win by 36-40. Would have won £80 off a pound bet but for Connor Farrell. Gutted!

Had Wigan 41-45. I would say you have bounced back from the cup defeat in some style.

He played but went off in the 2nd half I think and I don't recall him returning.

That was a very good and very professional Wigan performance.



OK Widnes were poor and as the game wore on dropped the ball often enough to make their completion rate absolutely shocking but Wigan were very clinical and kept at it for the full 80.



At the end there was 5 seconds on the clock and we still tried to score. I reckon Wane must have promised em something if they broke 50!



Charnley was very good on his return and some if the tries took some scoring. Their no 5 had a go at winding him up but he beat him hands down for two tries. One with a hand off on the outside and another plucking the ball out of his hands from a kick to plonk it down.



He looked real quality and he worked hard as well, which he has to do with Manfredi having played so well.

Charnley is absolute class, great to have him back.

The try where he went round Ah Van on the outside and just did him with pace along the touchline was a classic wingers try. Only 7 tries off the leading scorers now

It certainly is. He is without doubt one of the best, if not the best, finishers in SL

He would not get into the Leeds team.....

I'd have him before Briscoe any day of the week. Hall is a completely different type of winger to Charnley.

Charnley looks a lot trimmer, fitter and faster than he has for a long time. He showed a turn of pace that we have not seen for a few seasons either. He has obviously been working hard to get himself back into condition. I look forward to his contribution for the rest of the season.

I think he has incorporated running to and from Nando's to aid his fitness...
