Another game we should win but we’ll probably have to improve from last Sunday, can’t imagine Leeds will put in another performance that bad. Can’t imagine many changes but hopefully we can put out something like this

French
Manfredi
Hardaker
Bibby
Marshall
Hastings
Smith
Bryne
Powell
Havard
Isa
Farrell
Lockers

Bullock
Clark/Flower
Smithies
Tommy

So much up in the air with injuries. I don’t think Lockers injuries ever end up being one week jobs, so I’ll presume he’s out. If French could manage 70 mins I’m hoping he’ll be ok. A rolled ankle may be ok for Leuluai if that’s all it is.

Going on that guesswork, I’d go-

French
Manfredi Hardaker Bibby Marshall
Hastings Smith
Bullock Powell Byrne
Isa Farrell Smithies

Subs
Havard Clark Greenwood Leuluai

I’d give Greenwood a shot and hope we see a lad determined to get a place in the team. If he’s true to his word he’ll come out to prove a point.

I was saying the same thing about Greenwood to my sons after the game on Friday.
Like you I'd like to see him turn it around however, his track record doesn't bore well.
If French is injured I hope that Hanley may get a chance or play Marshall FB and bring in J Burgess on the wing. I know that Marshall last season played the FB role in training.

Interesting to see no G Burgess in your 17

Not what I would go with re my earlier post but think that you will be probably nearer the point than myself.
Bibby and Hankinson together seems very leightweight and lacking in pace though

Hanley isn't ready for this level yet. I'd bring Joe Burgess into the squad if French is unfit.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I think it is a sensible, decisive move that SL have made rearranging the fixtures.
