1. He didn't cut in, go past a player and score. He robbed Pirlo centrally on the edge of the box.
He created space back on the inside to shoot.
He was heading wide but cut back inside. It wasn't as pronounced because he initrially started off in a fairly central position.
2. I maintain, I'm yet to watch him play on the wing for City, beat his man on the outside and for him to deliver a cross for a frontman, like WINGERS do. You claim he does this, I haven't seen it.
Yes, he has done this. Several times. It's just that he can also puick a pass and will only take the man on when he needs to. If he can pick a pass that would be more productive than a dribble followed by a cross, he will pass the ball.
He doesn't play as a winger as such for Brazil because the width is provided by the full-backs (BTW how does Maicon get in ahead of Alves?).
For me, all his best work his done centrally. He wants to play slide rule balls, give & go's. He's not a Winger. You seem to think that he is, and say that Ribery isn't fit to lace his boots, nor Ronaldo as a winger, because he hasn't done it in La Liga, or gone home in a huff 3 times in a calendar year.
I prefer him to play centrally - you obviously didn't bother to acknowledge this when I stated it earlier.
I said Ribery is not as good as Robbie. How does that become 'not fit to lace his boots'. Are you a headline writer for a downmarket tabloid?
