Agreed on all counts. I am not getting carried away – been following this lot for far too many years to do that – but I think things really are moving in the right direction at present.
although not quite as much as I would have been a couple of months ago.
I have to admit that last night, it was more of a feeling of 'expectancy'. A couple of months ago, the feeling would have been 'inevitably'.
That's me too, but I am less cautious in my optimism because the improvement has been evident for a month now. Give it another month and I will be as delusional as a Spurs fan
As long as we don't, in true City fashion, muck it up next week, I'm going to try to get to the home leg of the quarters. There are, unfortunately, limits, on how many midweek trips I can do, since it means at least a day off work each time. I very much enjoyed the Copenhagen match a fortnight ago.
Good on you for getting up there in midweek. I must admit that the Uefa Cup doesn't particularly excite me. I would love to watch us against a quality team. Midweek games against the likes of Midjylland just doesn't float my boat. However, I'll have to write that off this year as we are we are waiting for the baby to arrive.
I can't be bothered with a PM (I am in a meeting at 3pm): Let me know if you are off to the FA Youth Cup game against Arsenal.
