In the days of cougarmania the players signature tunes helped create a fantastic atmosphere down at cougar park, this seems to have slipped away and been replaced with just about any song from the charts today, although its good to play the latest tracks its great to have personal tunes that the crowd can sing, clap and bang along to, so this thread is to get some of your tune ideas across to the club.

Heres some to get you started

Joe has played - Killer for Jermaine Wray, Waltzing Matilda for Brendan, Too sexy for my shirt for Schickel (he he)_ Johnny Presley wanted Michael Buble. Didnt always play modern songs but there is only a few seconds in which to play and get the crowd going so he plays the catchy ones. Like Chelsea Dagger, Can can song, Sambo di janero etc . However keep coming with the ideas - not sure Gavin would appreciate Mercy by Duffy though.

Have to be careful what to play there is references in that song that are not suitable for families. - eg pissing the night away

Pass the Dutchie by Musical Youth is easily altered to Pass to Hutchie (on the left hand side) for James Hutchinson.

Oliver's Army by Elvis Costello for Ollie Pursglove.

Anything by the Killers for Jamaine Wray.

Lucky Man by The Verve or Creep by Radiohead for when the opposition score

Main Offender by The Hives for a Red Card.

How about a generic one, dont know what its called but how about the tune they play at the darts from the ally pally ?
