Hi there, has anyone any news on Little Leon, I know his daddy said he wouldn't be putting updates on here much longer.
But we just so hope that he is improving day-by-day and it won't be long before he is home and they become a family again.

The blog is still being updated and there should be a piece in the Evening Post either tomorrow or early next week according to that. He looks like he is still improving from what I've read of it. http://www.little-leon.blogspot.com/ Fingers crossed that he can return home at some point soon

Wow, hello thanks for asking, well the news is all good, well better than good ists amazing, yesterday just 12 days after major surgery lasting in excess of 12 hours we were able to take Leon home, he is fit, as well as can be expected, just a little battle scarred and bruised, he will need regular check ups, but the initial prognosis is very good. His blog will be updated shortly to reflect this, but as you can imagine we have just been enjoying being together at home. I hope to get to the crusaders game and weather permitting will take Leon along to cheer the boys along showing them the support that all of you have shown us.

Thanks for all the latest news Don, Helen and Leon, soooooo pleased he is home.

A couple of weeks ago myself and the wife went collecting signatures at the Halifax Gala, it was amazing how people had heard about the proposed closure of the Unit and were only too pleased to sign, we must have got 100s of signatures that day, hope that it will make a difference..!!!
