Big thanks to everyone concerned at getting this deal over the line, the club, Ryan his agent but above all thanks to all you fantastic fans who have shown nothing but loyalty encouragement and support. One of us one of our own

Great news. Hope he gets his head and on with the job which has never been a problem previously. Same applies on the coaching staff's side as well. As a supporter I hope to see him developed to take over from Brough not just plugging a gap on the wing

Great news... I think you will probably find a lot of fans that had opinions on both sides of the coin when it comes to the contract situation, (That`s a thing of the past) but I think you will be hard pressed to find a fan that is not happy that he will be with us next for the next 2 years (At least!). Think he showed just what an asset to the team he can be last season, whichever position he was asked to play he excelled.

Without turning this thread into something else I am very much in the camp of preferring Ryan over Brough, but whichever way Chester goes on that next season I am sure Ryan will get his chance in whichever position that is, he will always do the job for us.

I agree. Not everyone argued that the club was wrong to let him go but I have never met a supporter than didn't agree he was a good player and worth keeping at Wakefield.
Glad it's all done.
I'm sure there is a lot less stress in the Hampshire household now.

Just happy now that its all sorted and he's staying.

It will be good for him now to put the recent uncertainty behind him, and do what he does best, on the pitch.

I'm just glad that ego's or anything like that didn't get in the way of everyone coming back to the table for another chat and do what's best for the club and Ryan. All parties must be congratulated on this.

Hopefully he'll thrive at Trinity over the next two years.

I think the majority of fans on here wanted this so well done to everyone for sealing the deal. I don't know what was needed to do it but glad it was.
