NRL Back on the 28th May We suspect that Australian Rugby League will be getting some new followers as the NRL swings back into post-Covid action in just ten days time, albeit behind closed doors and under strict health control measures. No real interest in Ozzy Rugby. I hope Sky don't put the Sky Sports Fee back on just on the strength of that!

Commentary, virtual crowd background noise brilliant and to top it all the standard of rugby was outstanding for the time that they had been away from the game, a lot to live up to when we kick off.

For SL they would have to play virtual singing and chanting, "Wakefield, Wakefield,Wakefield"

Don't usually bother with the NRL as I prefer the UK style of game. That said there is plenty to take from downunder. The reffing is respected with hardly any back chat. There were very few offside decisions and the ruck is squeaky clean compared to SL. The re-start of the tackle count is excellent however at this time given our rucks I do not think it would work! Also like the captains challenge but again thats not possible here as all games are not televised. George Williams had a good game but I am not a fan he blows hit and cold but no doubt has the talent if he can ve consistent.
