Are Trinity becoming irrelevant? : Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:19 pm
The new season is about to start and walking round Wakefield you would have no idea. I know supporters are not able to attend but we are in real danger of becoming irrelevant to potential fans. On top of that, driving home today I see an electronic billboard promoting Wakefield AFC to rush hour traffic by the A61 near what was Charlie Browns. 'Bringing football to Wakefield!'.If a barely more than Sunday League club can afford to do this why can't Trinity?
Fully prepared to see the standard response that the best way to increase support is a challenge cup win but let's be honest it's not happened for a life time and looks more unlikely now than it ever was, so something has to give in the interim.
What is the strategy to increase our average? Perhaps a good question for JM or MC?
