Unless Harry Bowes is injured i don’t get this. Give our own lads a go before other clubs youngsters.

2 players on 2 week loan deals? Chester really isn’t endearing himself to the fan base with these head scratching decisions, unless of course there’s also a spate of injuries amongst our younger squad members. Chester spoke specifically at the end of last season regarding how beneficial it had been to have blooded a number of junior players.

Do these short term deals cost us anything financially?

Might as well scrap the academy now then if we’re going back into feeder club status.

Depends on the deal agreed but ususally it's a case of us effectively paying his wages for the duration.

So we bring in 2-2 week loan players and send a centre that’s had as much experience as either on loan , makes lots of sense
