Saw some good things about him last year but let’s hope he can cut it in SL.

Nope, looks like a bit if a punt, although not sure we needed another utility forward.

Could be a cracking signing but after his injury related absence could be a bit of a punt. On his pre injury form I'd think he'll go well

His lengthy highlights vid on youtube, although a bit out of date, has him in the No 8 shirt throughout. Just padding out his cv I reckon to include other cover?

Players like this are Trinity specials and many have kept us on SL whilst a few have gone onto great things. These are the types of players who’ve kept us in SL for 20 years.

Sure we’ve had some duds but not many, most of our failures have been ‘reputation’ players.

He’s probably single and will take a small contract so long as he can play in SL.

I’m not right bothered about the injury, that’s the same risk with most players.

Could be a good signing, now let’s hear the SKY commentators pronounce that name!

Why does this mean that, that’s an extreme conclusion to jump too.

As for SA, how do you know If he hasn’t played for a year, and when he did he played in a London side that did a good impression of being a SL side.

Isn’t it far more likely that he’s replacing someone like Green?

I’ve said it numerous times, clubs like ours will be looking to sign these multi purpose players. With a squad of 28 we can afford very few specialist players. I think we need to accept that.

We won’t imho be signing any ‘name’ players for a while, at least not until the East stand and the new pitch are in place and new revenue is available. The money simply isn’t there.

Our greatest hope is that our Academy starts to produce big style in the next few years. Things are looking good but we won’t know until we need to use them in anger.

Willie Poching has forgotten more about RL than most punters on here will ever know, and if he sees this lad strengthening the squad then I'll back the signing and look forward to seeing him in RW and B.

Was he playing for London at the same time as Eddie Battye?
