Just watching Man U v city ladies didn’t know Man U played at LSV pitch looks brilliant no mixed lines

I didn't know they played there until I saw games advertised when we played there (for 40 mins at least ) but I cared as much then as I do now ... and also the same amount as when Leeds Utd reserves played at Belle Vue a few years ago, it didn't bother me in the slightest

Bit short-sighted of you, LSV get paid for hosting these games, as Trinity did when Leeds Reserves were here, bearing in mind the drop in sky money, LU Reserves would be a useful income stream

That was a fantastic deal for us, can’t see it happening now though. However we may be more attractive when we can offer a brilliantly floodlit 4G pitch and a smart East stand.

Not short sighted at all, while it may have been a good deal for the club, it meant nothing to me personally as I don't like football so I wouldn't be going to see it wherever it was played.

I was with you on that too. Similar when Emley moved in, good for the overheads but nothing I personally took an interest in apart from struggling to drive down Donny Road on the night Robbie Fowler made his debut for Leeds Res.

Yes I remember that night, I went with the wife who took an interest in LU at that time. Didn’t want to come with me to watch Trinity, but she wanted me to take her to watch LU reserves. What upset me most was that there was over 9000 in the crowd that night.

Any club needs to maximise it's facilities, it matters not that you and others would not be tempted to go and watch football at Belle Vue what is important is the income it brings in, in rental and catering and bars. I do not watch football and I didn't make one in when Emley were here and Leeds Reserves but I did support the venture because it's money for the club and I'd be happy if we had something like it in the future. The bigger picture is what counts

Absolutely.

I have no interest in LU reserves but I went anyway to the first game to help promote it.

I wasn’t board, I just kept counting the money.

As you saw United ladies play at LSV is an entrance charge.
Mens u21/23 also play with free entry domestic leagues and champions league they play whoever first team is playing usually early afternoon same day you can have a meal/box for reasonable cost for those games
None of the money goes direct to RL but multi use of stadium can only help.We have also had sold out concerts Elton and Richie
Groundstaff do a great job but we have benefitted from full service costs since stadium opened
