SL Dream Team 2022 : Sat Dec 04, 2021 8:44 am
Early days but these guys look to be first out with Dream Team prices. Any interest in Wakey players?
Johnstone is 2nd fav for wing but injuries would put me off. Tanginoa the obvious shout but the back row position looks stacked.

Find it a bit odd how high Cust and French are on the standings.

Cust bit of an unknown and French coming back from a long-standing injury.

Usual suspects at Wakey for me as mentioned above, but I’m throwing in Lino as a wildcard.

Slow start last year as he settled but he knows what SL is about now and I think he could raise his game to the next level in 2022.

I agree, I also think Lino will be in the mix. Expecting a big season from him, will need some protection.

I can’t seem to get the link to work but What’s the odds of Reece Lyne making centre? He’s in and around the England squad, also no Oliver Gildart this year. If it’s decent odds he might be worth a punt.
Like most it will depend what sort of season we have as to whether he’s considered.

That’s been the frustration of the last few seasons.

Due mainly to injury/Covid and some generally poor form we have not had many contenders and that’s shown in results. Yet ironically we’ve never had more potential.

The team as a whole is decent but we have a number of players who have or at least had the potential to be dream team players.

Jowitt
TJ
Lyne
Tupou
Miller
Lino
Tanginoa
Fifita
Pitts

And a few up and comers.

All imho opinion have the ability (if fit) to trouble the selectors. But to do that they and the team as a whole will need to find genuine season long form and above all avoid injury.

They say things come in threes and the last three seasons have been ruined by injuries so maybe we might be due a half decent run. Fingers crossed.
