I see the club have made the sensible decision to extend the lease on the club shop in the near empty Ridings shopping centre ensuring the footprint of the club in the city centre remains hidden from most people in the city reducing passing trade and interest in the club.

Another smart move by the board...

How is it hidden from most people in the city....all Trinity fans know where it is...in one of the two shopping centres in the City Centre !!!

If the club peeves you off so much then why don't you go 'support' someone else, cos you sure as hell don't 'support' Wakefield Trinity in any true sense of the word

God, I don’t know how you get out of bed in the morning, you have to be the most depressed, miserable and sad poster on here, that’s quite an achievement. Just my opinion of course.

Keep up ,A new owner as taken over the Ridings and he is spending a load of cash on the the bottom floor to make it Kid friendly, as well as doing work on the rest So as you say a smart move by the club .Next moan please

I think the Ridings is a sensible option. Certainly a lot better than being out in any of the grubby streets.

No, not the new stand but it is planned for when the Rollin shack is refurbished. That refurbishment is ear marked for when the new stand is up and running. I can only go by what JM mentioned at the SH meeting last week. There are a number of ideas for what will be the Community Hub. A number of different partners will be involved in the refurbishment and if it does happen, then it will be a valuable asset for both Trinity and the community.
There has to be uncertainty at the moment of what will happen around the ground, the current management have one plan, but a new owner takes over, he may well have different ideas.
