My comments about controlling the KC were badly worded, my sentiments where if Pearson wanted to get away from Allam buying FC would still mean he had direct involvement with him via the SMC.

One thing AP will not do is "play" at it, if he feels he needs expert advice/guidance then he will go out and get it, I would not be surprised to see McRae back at the club in a D.O.R role.

(not saying I think he is the right person, but he is available)

"Control - the act of restricting, limiting or managing something" I'd say he definitely 'manages' the running of the SMC. Maybe your getting mixed up with owns or fullly controls? He definitely has some hand in runnig the SMC, albeit with said frameworks/agreements restricting him.
