Maybe the BOD wouldn't sell to Allam because of his questionnable conduct and comments about Hull FC with regards to the stadium and mergers?
He sold to duffen because he felt he couldn't take it city any further because he didn't have the funds to get city any higher.
Phil parkinson was a good yound manager who had a very good record at southend (i think) and at the time it was seen a s a good appointment. similar to molby.
