@HWS i understand that, but Allam hasn't done anything in my eyes to warrant the attitude some people have on here, and anyway,he has no involvement at FC,only it's neighbours...
You mean he hasn't mentioned mergers and thrown money at our rivals? I must have dreamt that then
As I have said, the two are not comparable, Lloyd was a chancer, always had been, AP is an established business man. The negativity astounds me, maybe people would have been happier muddling along under Kath and the other unambitious BOD.

Sorry Standee, I was quoting White with Clover over Allam not Pearson. I have a great respect for Pearson. My colleague some years ago now, went to work at Hull City, he interviewed her for the job and she has nothing but praise for him. A very reasonable man by all accounts.

Some people are cautiously optimistic without seeing the need to begin all out worship of the new owner on the first day of his tenure. That's all. It's hardly an astounding position to take. Life isn't about constantly being at one pole or the other. There is a centre ground.

Ah, apologies, I misunderstood.
He is reasonable, reasoned and articulate, he wont be "the face" of FC but if and when he needs to comment he will, he certainly won't tie people's hands behind their backs when he knows they know better than him what they are talking about, he is what I would call "an enabler", someone who allows people to shine in their own right.
And Staffs, nobody is worhsipping the new owner, we're being optimistic.

Adam you are a Saint for clearing out the rot and I hope Kath goes onto bad things and dont make anymore teams suffer like she has us and held us back.
