do you really want me to waste my time quoting you, and others, making excuses for Lee? seriously
You're only saying that because you know you can't. Only one or two posters on here have ever made excuses for Radford and COYH is certainly not one of them.
For reference, not getting your knickers in a knot at every available opportunity does not constitute 'making excuses'.

Classy. The very definition of a Keyboard Warrior.
I assume you are trying to be sarcastic If you don't like Radford or the club being criticised then reply with a meaningful post.
I've put my point across many times both highly critical and supportive. I don't feel the need to trot out the same boring crap on every thread day in and day out like I read on here from the likes of yourself, bumpy and knowledge-free standee. You're as boring as our early season attack structure and tactics. The best thing about winning isn't the 2 points gained it's the fact that you lot go quiet for a week. Hope that means enough for you.
Of course they have claimed the squad is stronger, as every coach does.
I've asked you and UllFC where they said Radford inherited a "disaster of a squad and has had to start from nothing".
They didn't, it's just typical of the OTT rubbish posted on here.
some of us do have work to attend you know...
Just a few of Adam Pearson interview highlights over the last 12 months:
"At the end of last season I was very disappointed. I didn’t feel the coach (Peter Gentle) had maximised the playing strength at all and we had just given up in the play-offs."
"We have had a number of excuses here at the club in the last couple of years now and we know those excuses have to stop."
"Looking back, transition is exactly what we’ve had because we’ve cleared out a number of players who were brought in by Shaun McRae and Peter Gentle who proved just not to be good enough. That is extremely disappointing and I feel it was almost a wasted two years"
"When I look at the money we wasted on transfer fees for players it does. We let Andy Lynch go when I had just paid a £50,000 transfer fee for him, so there were some strange decisions. There was a large transfer fee and contract for Joe Arundel and players came in on big contracts who just haven’t delivered."
'Do you regret sacking Peter Gentle?' "No I wish I'd done it earlier really, because obviously Radders is having to sort out quite a lot of the issues he left behind"
Its clear to me in that both interviews are attempts at deflecting blame from himself and Radford by making out that 2012 & 2013 were poor, disappointing years for the club. When the reality is 2012 & 2013 were much better seasons compared to what we had under Agar and last year under Radford. That excuse was already wearing thin back in October 2014 when the HDM interview was given, but for the club to be still trying to paint the same picture in August 2015 is ridiculous IMO. Judging from the mixed opinions on this thread I am far from alone in thinking that.

My patience has ran-out with Gentle. Last season I thought he did a good job considering the injuries we had, and the makeshift squad with players like Tony Martin making up the numbers.
but this season has been an absolute disaster, our worst since 2009 IMO, and not even a CC win should be allowed to cover up how bad the league campaign has been.
His signings have been awful , Arundle & Crooks aren't even making the team, Galea wasn't needed, Ellis has been average (but at least improving) Johnson is a decent squad player but not exactly one that sets Super League alight, only Holdsworth & Miller have been positive additions. Players like Aspinwall, Martin & McGoldrick were dismissed as being fill-in players last season, but we got a lot more out of them than this years signings!
the forwards are too light, and players we previously relied on heavily like Yeaman, Lynch & Whiting are another year older and haven't reached their usual standards.
our attack is not better than the Agar days, and at times it is even worse as we don't have the 'pass it to Manu and hope he knocks 3 players over' tactic to use anymore.
Gentle seems incapable of motivating his team to play 'run of the mill' SL games, we are capable of beating the likes of Wire, Leeds & Catalan....but then the week after lose to Widnes, draw with London etc ...............
Not too keen on Gentle either, by the looks of it. Why do you bother??
I think the squad is looking good for next year, and I hope LR get's it right as I yearn for some success like everyone else.
I won't be buying a pass though as I'm tired of being let down every year (for the last 7/8 anyway) and I fear LR simply hasn't got the skill set to turn the squad which is good on paper into a team that can challenge for trophies.
Articles like the one in the HDM is just more of the same for me, every year its the same old rhetoric.
I guess there isn't much else they can say though.
I really hope I'm proved wrong next year and LR blossoms into the coach AP thinks he can be, and we can play an entertaining brand of rugby and challenge and compete with the top 4 (I say challenge and compete - not better before anyone jumps on that)

you went all the way through my history to find that, you stalking me?
I'm also happy to admit with hindsight I was wrong! He wasn't the right coach for us long-term, but how was I to know at the time we'd replace him with Radford!

It didn't take long, about a minute, knowing full well that I'd find something.
Mr Gentle wasn't so popular in 2013, you're not the only one to mention it.

Anyway, I thought making excuses wasn't allowed?
Still a bit creepy though isn't it, trawling back through 2 years of someone's post history, still if its what you want to do with your Wednesday nights...
