Murdoch has a point, players have improved during his tenure. How much of this improvement is directly through Agar's input we will never know. Many of the young improved players, will be becoming more tactically aware, maturing and vitally gaining experience. If there is no improvement as a result of this, then they are clearly not cut out to be super league players.
Where Agar got so much wrong, is his lack of gameplan, unable to change a gameplan during the match when it is clear things are not working, his poor tactical decisions, use of subs (baffling on numerous occasions) we have become predictable the list goes on.
