Wigan / squad announced : Mon Feb 02, 2009 6:54 pm
Well just over 11 days away what do reckon the team will be ?

My guess:

Byrne
Calderwood
Yeaman
Horne (G)
Briscoe
Horne (R)
Thorman
Dowes
Berrigan
Cusack
Radford
Manu
Tickle

Subs: King, Thackray, Burnett, Hougton

Possibly Tony for Bryne, I don't reckon the risk Washy, Hall and Lee to miss out unless Byrne is also injured.

Looks good. Question about whether we start with one of King/Thacks, but need to see off Feka, so this looks the best option.

Have to say it looks weak to me. We look to have no size in the pack and may struggle for go forward against a noble coached team. The centre/wing partnership of horne and briscoe doesn't fill me with confidence on the attacking front either. Could be a long season IMO

Sorry, I meant it was the best combination given what we've got available.

The go forward will be on a par with last season IMO as Carvell barely played, but at least we have a kicking game. I want to see the attitude/intensity they showed at Headingley last week.

Thats not the team I would pick, its the one I think Agar will pick.

Personally I would like to see Hall at centre.

Have you seen the pack this year ? They all look bigger!

If Washy is fit he won't be but I don't think he will be risked.
