Another article in the Hull Daily Mail from William Jackson ranking, in reverse order, the Top 10 full backs to have played for Hull since the turn of the century. I do question as to when this guy actually started attending games given that he has put Jamie Shaul in front of Steve Prescott.

Its not even close.

Agreed. Prescott was such a great full back. Worth noting that at the time of his enforced retirement in 2003 he was at the top of the try and goal scoring list. After just 16 rounds he'd scored 13 tries and 71 goals. He also scored five tries in the Cup. He was in the form of his life.

Prescott should be miles in front of Shaul

Today I would have Jamie Shaul around 5th or 6th in that list, but around 2nd or 3rd in his first few seasons.

Prescott was streets ahead of any of the other Full backs (Mckinnon could have been great he he had stayed).

Shaul and Briscoe were very simlar in style, brave, good runners and support players.

Put Prescott in either our 2016 or 2017 team and we would have won the double in one of those years IMO.

I agree, probably the best FC fullback I have ever seen play in person.
