| The weekend results were as follows:
Dons 18, Newcastle 19
Keighley 38, London 22
W Wales 10, Hunslet 72
Whitehaven 22, N Wales 24
Workington 16, Oldham 22
Coventry had the weekend off.
Keighley’s win over London was a good outcome for us. Hunslet managed to improve their points’ difference by 62 in Wales. The shock of the weekend was Whitehaven losing at home to N Wales, confirming there really isn’t much between any of the teams in this league, with the exception of W Wales.
Workington v Oldham was an important game. Oldham won to leave a three point gap between the Dons and fifth place. The Dons climbed up a place to sixth to overtake Workington on points difference; both sides having 12 points.
The League Table now stands as follows: (Played, Points, Points Difference):
1) Whitehaven 12, 17, +85
2) Hunslet 12,16, +188
3) Oldham 12, 16, +161
4) Newcastle 12, 15, +137
5) London 12, 15, -12
6) Dons 12, 12, +82
7) Workington 12, 12, +74
