there's been a negativity around the club for a couple of years at least Hudgell threatening to take his ball home every five minutes blaming everyone but himself yes I know he puts the money in but it doesn't mean he should be untouchable peacock saying on the SL show that championship clubs shouldn't get a share of the money well that's come back to bite him Cockaynes comments regarding player welfare are a joke because all the players who will get released will get contracts with other clubs wheras people who work behind the scenes will get made redundant with no knowing whether they will get another job so soon James Webster great player for us but he must be the most uninspiring coach ever sounds beaten in every interview pretends he hasn't got a clue what is going on I thought if we could have survived this season we would have got out of jail and things would have got better but now we've been put back God knows how many years because let's be honest leigh have only gone up because they were bankrolled on a SL scale something I don't think we will be also the peacock and cockayne comments turned a lot of fans of other clubs against us

Leigh went up because they have better players. Cockayne = karma. Hudgell has single-handedly killed your club.

You are right about Jamie Peacock. As a Batley fan, I had one of the best away match experiences at you club this year. The fans, officials, stewards etc were absolutely top class. Even the little touches like the posters thanking us for travelling, and the live band behind the stand. I also had the greatest of respect for Jamie Peacock as a player. However, all of that was undone in seconds when he made those comments on TV, targeting my club in particular. Even Tanya was embarrased by it and moved him swiftly on. From that moment I wanted you to go down so he could eat his words and see what it is like to struggle in the Championship. Going straight back up wont be a foregone conclusion either, ask Bradford. Anyway I look forward to our games next year and if you ditch JP, I wish you well.

Every negative has a positive..............The bin dipping 'faithful' can always defect to a side of the city where once again they would enjoy the wonderful smell of success.

I agree 100% , Captain Peacocks comments made Rovers a very unpopular Club, and lost him a lot of credibility, he has the brains of a Rocking Horse.

I don't think leigh were spending a full SL salary cap this season were they? You don't need to, just recruit a squad good enough to get you into the middle 8's then bring in some quality for those games like leigh did. It just needs hudge to keep his nerve and spend a fair chunk for 1 year
