Len Casey and Clive Sullivan both spring to mind, as they won major trophies with Rovers and were both voted onto our all-time team.
Two of our best coaches were former Hull players - Colin Hutton turned Rovers around after a long period in the doldrums, and Bill Jacques won two Championships as trainer in the 1920s.
In more recent times, Shaun Briscoe was very good player, and pro. Josh Hodgson was excellent. And the Paul Cooke signing represents a time when Rovers were, to use Andy Wilson's words, opportunistic, ambitious, driven and intelligent, while Hull FC were 'sluggish' and 'alarmingly accident-prone'. The last couple of years have seen that flip, but what goes around, comes around and around and around.
