Player of the Year- Adam Quinlan (I agree)
Young Player of the Year- Joe Cator (tough one that - the big squad meant that despite all the early- to mid-season injuries we were never heavily reliant on the youngsters). Dagger and Oakes looked good at times as well, but were perhaps a bit uneven in their performances.
Try of the year- Greenwood's off Mulhern's lung-busting run at Hudds, or Vaivai's off Quinlan's break in Toronto
Tackle of the year- Liam Salter Vs Catalans Home (Batieri) (I agree again - Tickle's hit on Taylor in the final derby of the year was also a welcome reminder that we can do stuff like that as well, after seeming to be a nice team to play against for a long time)
Clubman-Maurice Blair - yeah, honourable mention and best of luck to the unfortunate Heffernan as well
Most Improved- Robbie Mulhern. Good shout - Tickle, Vaivai and Atkin, who were new or almost new, performed very well relative expectations I think it is fair to say.

Quinlan have to agree player of the year (and I said at the beginning of the year we didn’t need him so shows how much I know ) closely followed by Mulhearn Blair has been good as I think we’ve missed him in the last couple of games no young players have really stood out for me been a bit disappointed in Oakes thought he’d really take his chance but he didn’t and was outshone by Wallis thought Cator would have had more game time

Oakes seems to be too big and bulky, he doesn’t look the quickest either. Needs to lose a stone and get his confidence back.
But I agree with everything the others have said.

Oakes is supposed to be fast when I was at the Widnes game he looked terrible I know it was really hot but it seemed to really get to him and he had 15 years on some of our players but he couldn’t handle it at all
