just looking through the results and there appears to be quite a few 18-0 scores. the nwc league must prefer this rather than allow teams a free weekend due to attending the grand final if teams want to go. if teams prefer to play then good on em but the opportunity to postpone should be given.

i bet even those teams that did fulfill fixtures had weekened sides.

i wonder if any of the nwc comittee attended games today or went the grand final themselves??

Up until this season, teams where allowed 2 free dates at the discretion of the NWC Committee.

They removed them due to the bad weather and subsequent delays in the league programme early this year.

Daft though as league rules state if you forfeit games you get relegated, depending on how many depends on which division your in of course.

In my opinion though I think teams who forfeit due to the GF is ridiculous.
