I think when he has a fully fit squad (or near fully fit) they play very well, look at beginning of the season.
I think the problems run deeper than the coach

The youth situation will improve as the u16 teams come through-note hat unlike the reserve team they are competing against english opposition. The coach cannot stop injuries without fundamentally changing the style of the team.The team is usually knackered after 60minutes. Is this style of play or basic fitness or both
