TRUE................gone on loan. Hoping to play for Widnes today but registration never got through in time. Correct what you said about same thing happening at Wigan when Nobby took over. I think he was the top try scorer in the forwards at the time, having played 7 games and scored 6 tries but Noble didn't see him as part of his plans.
He was always concerned that it would repeat itself at Crusaders and it's proved it's self to be true. Nobby obviously has his favourites and JJ's not on the list.
He's frustrated at being 18th man every week and not getting any game time, so when Widnes came calling he's taken the opportunity.Barring an injury crisis, I can't see him playing many more games for Crusaders this season.
He's obviously gutted after coming off such a high with Wales last season and really looking forward to playing with a more competitive team.
Personally I've got to say Crusaders loss............. Widnes's gain. He's never given anything less than 100% for whichever team he's played for. (Despite some of the comments posted on the Widnes fans forum when he left!).
He'll be back in Super League soon.
