Stay Healthy Start Writing : Sat Jul 31, 2021 12:21 pm
"Stay Healthy Start Writing" is the title of an article in the July issue of the Forty 20 magazine. It makes readers aware of the importance of keeping fit mentally as well as physically. This is not something that only applies to people as they grow older but also to younger players when they retire from playing the game. My suggestion to do this is to spend some time each week writing a novel based on your own life and times. This is something that I started to do in 1988 and have enjoyed doing ever since. More details about my six novels are found on my web site www.geofflee.net. They are all inspired by the old saying about being at work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller" and also by being a rugby league fan since 1947 when I was still at Knowsley Road school in St Helens. I have also written three pages of general advice to help you or maybe one of your older relatives or neighbours or friends get started. Just E Mail me at wgeoflee@gmail.com and request "Geoff's RL Guidelines" and I'll send them to you. Who knows maybe one day you may become a legend in your own street or an icon in your own cul de sac.
