ambitions after 'Super fax!' last night : Fri Jun 03, 2011 11:37 am  

anyone who has spent any decent ammount of time watching Halifax RLFC would have been blown away by that performance last night, organised and fluent in attack and awesome in defence! UNEXPECTED ASWEEL!

what are your thoughts for the rest of the year now?

my opinion is,

Super League = no chance

Blackpool = good shot now, and if we get there, its a one off game

playoff = good shot if barrow and widnes slip up again.

Playoffs without a doubt.

I really hope Super League is a 'yes' but i just cant see it, although Brian Carney was sumwhat appologetic while interviewing MC last night.

Super leage- if celts go bust (fingers crossed)

blackpool- 50-50 split

playoffs- definately

you will bear up pretty well as long as you have a good coach on the books. As soon as he leaves i would imagine the same problems would start to surface again, Calland is a decent coach but he appeared to lose the dressing room.

I dont think anyone ever doubted the quality of your squad. But there was definately something missing before Nobby came allong. I hope you dont mind me E-Mailing the Quins advising them there is a quality coach just waiting for an opportunity to coach at the highest level again.

SL= No chance with the idiots at the RFL. How I hate them and what they are doing. Clubs like Fax, Fev and Leigh are suffering because of these clowns not that they care!

Rail Cup= Quite confident and was impressed with Defence and Discipline- are two worst areas. Anything can happen in 80 minutes and no reason why we cant get to the Final

League= No reason to think we cant get a finish somewhere between 4th and 6th. Then knock out footy is again a situation where anything can happen. Good thing is we have so much experience there and we just need to stay focussed and believe.
