And i am confident we can pull off a win tonight. man for man over the park we have better players than Batley, the league table wont say that but we do.

if we turn up tonight we can win this game.
Come on FAXX!!!
The dogs are a very well drilled team, they have home advantage, a slopped pitch and everything to play for.
Dylan Nash is out for us and i think we will miss him big time tonight, Goddard is back but i would prefer Nash on the pitch if he is fit, Look at what he did at fev, Great in the air and if we cant get through the line then he is certainly a aerial attacking player to catch the kick over. Bowman is back fit but i would leave him out and hope Black, Jones, Penky, White, Worrincy, Greenwood, Beswick play fast rugby and get at em with quick play of the ball and we will win. Its about the play of the ball and the referee to have a good game.

But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."― Albert Einstein "Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense." ― Gertrude Stein "Don't believe everything you read on the internet" ― Abraham Lincoln
I think the players will be up for it. Afterall it could be the final game they play for us for a lot of them.
What has happened to Beswicks Kicking game, Last year he was instumental with his 40-20s along with Branno, This year i have not seen one from him, Not even one attempted one i dont think, It would be a good tactic to use tonight, a few early 40-20s to get possesion and get down that hill, We dont have the Forwards to compete on the slope so the kicks would take them out of the game a bit more.

I agree and if ever a kicking game was needed it is at Batley, that's what Handforth does to perfection. Still great to be involved and anything could happen.
our pack need to perform tonight if we are to win. we need to get in their faces early on and start well. these all sound obvious statements, but if we match Batley for enthusiasm, passion, completion, then im sure well come out on top!
'Big game players' as they have labellled themselves is a big statement also, they need to prove it, because KR and Batkey aint gonna give us the win.

He tried one in the NRC final but it just went out on the full and ended up backfiring against you. Was a good idea though at the time!

Will be difficult to play fast rugby with the rain over the last two days on the Mount Pleasant pitch. Be more safety first and not dropping the ball . Batley have not played since before the Challenge Cup Final and have had two weeks to prepare for this game so should be rested and at full strength. Halifax have had a four day turnaround . Not predicting the result but expecting a good close game with Batley the slight favourites. The key tonight could be Sam Barlow's discipline when the Batley players start winding him up.when he just plays rugby a good forward but when he loses it a liability.
