What a weird game we looked great and scored some excellent tries in the first half being 34 - 0 up after 33 minutes then did not score again and conceded 16 points to a team who just got a bit of a roll with some daft penalties not all down to poor reffing either, why?

Still room for improvement as we have to play for 80 minutes lads, also please stop trying to score when the pass is not on and throwing away possession early in the tackle count.

But that first half was good some nice tries and a funny, the pass by their guy in goal gifting us a try.
Great turn out from the Fax fans, must have had 2/3 of the crowd today.

Brilliant first half but that all changed when Handforth didnt come out for the second. Some players showed in the second half that when we have a fully fit squad and arnt rotating as much they probably wont get much of a look in.

We lose all direction with either Ashall at hooker, more so Karl, who dosnt look anywhere near ready to play at this level, constantly taking the wrong options and dropping off tackles. I guess he is a work in progress and most of that will be done in the second team. Casey was also very guilty of missing lots of tackles in that half and again is just filling in while we wait for players to get fit or up to speed.

The result keeps us grounded though and still as the team to beat and lots of room for improvement which must be a scary thought for the rest of the teams when we at times are able to beat teams playing nowhere near the potential we showed in the first half yesterday and the game against Dewsbury.

Just shows we really do need another playmaker, with Handforth off we were limited to just Murrell in terms of an experienced half back.

That made my season, not the fact that the player made the pass.
I was unfortunate to sit in front of some supporters who stand next to us at the Shay. I don't know whether Thaks has pi""ed on their bonfire or whatever he has done to them, but they never give him a break. As soon as he hoisted that ball up in the air one of the miserable g:ts said, "what did the idiot do that for"

Karl has said that Mannings yellow card was a silly mistake (on Mannings behalf) but was it as bad as some of the holding down?
Take this silly rule when the ball is kicked dead the defending side gets a tap, yet if the other side haven't retreated the play is held up. Is there much difference?

Forgot to ask as well but what the hell was Sheriffe doing when he broke their line and just shipped the ball on to Divorty without drawing a man? At first I thought he mussed have pulled something as why else would a winger not even attempt to take the FB on or at least get to him..
