Saw him last week for York againgst Catalans, won the man of the match and showed more creativity than in his 2 (?) years at Fax combined. And today he scored 42 points in a game, must be some sort of a record?..

He had potential. Difficult to get a foothold when Murrell calls the shots

Connor did nothing wrong, he was a young lad who had just moved to a new club and was another half back that found himself playing at 7 or just as often 1.

That's when he did get a start otherwise he was sat on the bench or in the stands, not easy to show what you can do without having the time to settle in and play regular.

I'm glad he didn't walk away from the game and is now showing what he can do, good on yer CR.

I thought he left us due to work/travel making it difficult to get to training.

He lives and works in Hull I believe. York will be easier to get to.

Hit the nail on the head. Need regular game time to get better, particularly in a half-back role which is so central to the team. Watch the super 8s highlights he showed plenty of potential.

Indeed Mcgrath and Butler now given a few games are virtually undroppable.
