Wouldn't surprise me. He's been a great player for us, but he is knocking on now and we are already strong in the back row without even counting Ashurst and Dixon. We'll also have two top line centres and back up in Wheeler and Lomax, so his utility value isn't all that essential anymore either. Possibly the right time to let him go.
Is he still the only one traveling over from Yorkshire with Pryce every day? It may be worth keeping him for the sake of keeping Pryce happy. He can still do a great job in the second row, and is still (amazingly) one of our quickest players.
He won't be at Saints next year and I doubt he'll be playing in the North West next year either. I would say Cas or Huddersfield are his most likely destinations.

There's no doubt he's still capable of making a great contribution next year, but we have a lot of young players coming through in the same position who can do so as well. I think in that situation the best thing to do is bite the bullet and let the older player go, like we've done with Long.
like alot of people are saying, he's been great for us ,but his time has come, we have lots of cover in the back row and now two centres, with cover there as well.
