Beaumont himself agreed . Short sighted thinking but can understand it. Saying most Leigh fans would take being in MPG but a win in league versus Wigan may or may not be correct? But Clarke called it right this time

So Beaumont thinks beating an under performing and massively under strength Wigan is better than winning a challenge cup would be. Jesus we all love beating our rivals but that is ridiculous

incredible how your club went from second division fodder and only getting 3-4,000 at home in the first Div to where you were the no.1 club in such a few short years.

Massively as in approximately 10 from a squad of 40 or massively as in 10 from a squad of 28 as Leigh were ?

But Wigan are missing their stars. Leigh are only missing very average journeymen. There is a huge difference in the quality of players missing from each club.
