I have been told, by a Leigh fan, that there are bridge works on the East Lancs on the way to Leigh. Road down to one lane.
I don't exactly know where but if you are going to Leigh on Sat, Be aware

Jump on the V1 bus and you'll miss all that.

It's just past the Astley turn off contra flow in both directions.
Use the guided bus rail or go through astley on Leigh road.

You will take an extra 30 seconds to get to the LSV

Yeah the V1 is great (well it is for this particular fixture ), can jump on in Town/Salford Precinct/Swinton/Worsley/Ellenbrook

Doesn't take long either.

Bridge repairs are on the stretch from Higher green lane junction to the Greyhound island. You can jump off at the Astley junction before Higher Green Lane and have a scenic route through Leigh

Definitely get on the V1, £4.20 is a bargain.
